Clay Ford

Clay joined the UVA Library as a Statistical Research Consultant in 2013. He provides assistance with data wrangling and data manipulation, experimental design, selection and implementation of statistical methods, and data visualization. Since coming to UVA Clay has led dozens of workshops on statistical software and methods, developed and taught a Data Wrangling with R short course, and co-founded the UVA R Users group. He also started and regularly contributes to StatLab Articles, a collection of blog posts on various statistical topics.

Clay obtained his Master’s degree in Statistics from UVA in 2010. He previously worked as a biostatistician at PRA and a project manager at Thomson Reuters. You can follow him on GitHub
