Data Computer

dataComputerWe offer a computer with a large amount of memory and faster processors in the Library Data Commons@Curry (302 Ruffner Hall). This is especially helpful when using software that relies heavily on RAM, like Stata. Datasets and specialized research software are also loaded onto this machine. This computer is available to U.Va. faculty, staff, and students during normal business hours of the LDCC and can be reserved for up to four hours a day. Reservations are encouraged to ensure the computer is available at a convenient time. When not reserved the data computer can be used for general academic research.
